Established in 2005, Hongshi BaoSheng Technology Company (HBTC) is a group of companies specialising in R&D and manufacturing of equipment for a wide range of industries including aviation, telecommunications, nance, healthcare, energy and mechanical precision parts.
With over 600 employees, HBTC exports products across Europe, Asia, America and Australia.
Products include engine parts for customers such as Rolls-Royce. Airbus, Boeing, Collins Aerospace and Comac.

Prior to installing their rst Planar machine in 2014, HBTC was using calipers and pin gauges to check parts in production.The method was slow and it wasn’t possible to generate digital reports of the inspection data.
General Manager, Mr. Yang Hu, was introduced to InspecVision by a former colleague who had experience of the system.
Quality Engineer, Mr. Yang Qiang commented that “the Planar enables us to inspect 1400 parts per week. Prior to installing the machine it took three weeks to inspect 1400 parts. We are saving 70% on inspection time per part”.

Mr. Qiang said that since installing the Planar machine they have been able to increase ef ciency in production, and ship more parts than before.
The Planar machine performed so well that in 2018 the company decided to invest in a second machine. This time a smaller model with higher accuracy, the P70.20, to measure parts specifically made for Rolls Royce engines.
HBTC has installed a broad range of sheet metal equipment from leading manufacturers including Amada, Prima Power, Salvagnini, Makino and DMG MORI and has achieved ISO9001, AS9100 and NADCAP quality management system certification.

According to Mr. Qiang, the payback period for the machine was 3 years and operators have found the machine very convenient and easy to use.
Mr. Qiang also commented that “the machine works well in a factory floor environment as it has no moving parts. Service and training support both from local distributor R&K Machinery and InspecVision has been excellent”.
